    I have had this problem and used the easy fix, but after my machine auto updated to Quicktime 7 and I reverted back to 6.5 my xpress pro will not fire up and gives me the same message. Did the quicktime screw me up? I have reinstalled and still get the problem.

    Be sure to put in your registration code for QT6.5 Pro. I don’t run Avid Xpress Pro, but if it requires a QTPro license, that could be your problem.

    Thanks for the idea but I checked the quicktime pro is registered and I still get the error.
