    Hi there,

Can anyone tell me if the earth maps on NASA’s website can be used in a paid gig?

I want to create a spinning earth in space as part as a little video logo intro,

But obviously don’t want to use copyrighted material.

    thanks for the help,
    Derrick

I have a feeling they’re fine on commercial use, their Earth Observatory page has some terms and conditions here, which approve, but obviously if you didn’t get it from that particular sub-site, those terms don’t really count for much….

Only in after effects do children get to pick and whip their parents.

    thanks everyone,

    Just a follow up.

This is what NASA replied after an email:

“Feel free to use the images as you wish. The images found on the Visible Earth website are available for non-commercial OR commercial use. Just make sure to give credit to NASA.”

    thanks,
    Derrick
