Copy/Paste title attributes?
Hey everyone. Is there a way to copy the parameters from the titler tool into all my titles? I need to change the color, font size, and leading on about 80 captions. Don’t want to do them individually. Thanks!

Yes there is. Create a new title with all the settings: color, font size, and leading
Then save it as a style. There should be a panel in the titler with a bunch of other styles to choose from (all the different colored “A”s) if you right click in there, or select the menu icon at the top then you should have the option to save as a New Style or something like that.
Or you could save the title as a template by opening the template menu, but I think saving as a style makes more sense for what you’re doing.

Interesting. Saves me a couple of clicks, but doesn’t apply the font size by default, nor does it seem to keep my leading. Still, better than nothing. Thanks

Yeah, I’d like to figure it out too. I made a custom style, but how do I apply it to all of the titles in the sequence?

One possible way would be to do the titles in After Effects, much easier to change attributes on multiple layers.

Yes, but in Ae text layers are not reflected in the project panel. So, if there’s a couple of comps with text layers, you’ll have to open them one by one, to change text style, same thing. BUT, one can make a big Ae comp, covering entire Premiere’s sequence, add all of the necessary texts and trim them as needed. Then you’ll have all the layers in one comp and be able to select them and apply style changes. Thanks for the idea, Benjamin Ausmith!
