    hi

ok ive edited a sequence in premiere pro and exported it as an avi and used it in AE. However the video has a border i dont want so im going to re export from premiere pro without the border.

problem is I want to use the AE effects/keyframes that i’ve already applied to the first edit to the second. how do i do this?

im aware that premiere projects can be opened in AE but when i did do that (opposed to exporting clip as avi) the brightness adjust etc from premiere pro did not show up in AE..?

ok hope that was clear… probs not but…. cheers.

Re-edit the sequence in Premiere and export it as another avi into the project window of your AE project. Then select the old avi in the timeline and hold alt while you drag the new avi to the same place in the timeline. This should replace the old footage with the new and keep whatever keyframes you had intact.
