    Hello guys!

I’ve got a following question: how do you usually go about effects when sending your edit for colour grading and they ask you a timeline clean of effects/transitions? Is there any way to save the references of effects like you can do in Avid (saving to a separate bin and then just reapplying them once you got your edit back colour graded). I’d be happy if you could share your tips on this kind of workflow ???? thank you in advance!

You can save effects presets in FCPX and reapply them later.

Or you could copy/paste effects from the original timeline back to the new Resolve clips.

Or you could argue that any non-colour modifying effects are integral to the image and bake them in.
