  • Copying multiple effects to clips

    Hello group,

I tried to search for this before posting so sorry if it is indeed a repost –

I have applied some effects (Black and white, cam corder) to a clip and also made some color correction. I want to copy these effects and color settings to multiple clips to generate the same look and feel.

Is there an easy way to copy multiple effects and then apply to clips (one at a time or all at once)?

    Many thanks

1)After applying multiple effects to your clip, select clip in timeline and copy effects with Cmd-opt-C
2)Select new clip in event browser, right-click (or ctrl-click) and ‘Open in Timeline’
3)Select new clip in Timeline and paste effects into clip with Cmd-opt-V
4)Done. Go back to other project in timeline, the new clip updates in event browser

You may want to duplicate the clip in the event browser (Select & Cmd-D) before applying step 2
