I was wondering if there is a way I can copy the event FX and paste them into other events without also copying the pan/crop settings. I have an effect with keyframes and I have about 100 images I would like to paste the the effect into. The problem is that the images are all different sizes and the pan/crop settings squishes/expands a lot of them. It would be a lot of extra time to fix them all so I wonder if there is a workaround of some type. Thx

Unfortunately there is no way to just paste some attributes. What is needed is a context menu when you paste event attributes to select just the attributes that you want to paste.

I would make a Product Suggestion to Sony. The more we ask for it, the better chance we will get it.

Here is how you an accomplish what you want very easily:

    • Save the FX as a Filter Package. Even if it’s just one FX. This will cause it to save the keyframes.
    • Select all of the events that you want to apply this to. (hint: if it’s all of them, right-cick the first one and choose Select Events to End).
    • Open the Plug-In Manager (Ctrl+Alt+1), find your new Filter Package under Plug-Ins > Video > FX > Filter Packages and drag and drop it onto one the selected events.

All of the selected events will have that filter package applied including the keyframes.
