  copying and pasting changes format – why?

  Hello

  I”m doing an assembly edit in FCP7 (running Maverick) and when I copy and paste clips from one timeline to another, they sometimes come out in teh wrong aspect ration with a turquoise frame and a green line above in the timeline, even when everything else on that timeline is fine. Can anybody please help me with an explanation and a fix? Thank you.
