    Copying a Motion clip from one project to another

    Hi,

    I have a basic question: how do you copy one shot from one project to another. I have a project in FCP where I have several motion shots embedded into the FCP timeline with a .motn designation. I want to lift the opening motion shot and the end one and start a new sequence in FCP.

    Any suggestions?

    You can create another Motion Project so you have the new project and the old one open at the same time. Just select what you like from the old project and drag it over to the new project and you are ready to go. Hope this helps and best of luck.
