Should I be able to copy a mask from one line to another? I changed a video element in my timeline but want all the masking to be the same. CTRL c, CTRL v doesn’t work.

    Thanks for your help,

CTRL c, CTRL v should work, you just need to select (highlight) the mask shape. Select the layer then type “m”, that will twirl down the mask for the layer, select the mask shape and copy, then paste onto your new layer.

Also for future reference, if you want the mask shape to become a path for another layer you can copy/paste the mask shape of one layer into the Position of another layer.

Thanks. Not certain why it didn’t work the first time but it did this time.

    Thanks
