Copying a mask path to a motion path, the scale is different
So, as simple as that, why does it happen? It’s smaller.
On this pics you’ll see it, I’m copying mask path from layer #12 to layer’s #5 position, both layers scale is %100.

it looks like your text layer is arrested to a null… what’s the scale of the null?
