  • Copying a comp from one project to another?

Posted by Gizmo1990 on February 15, 2006 at 3:23 pm

I’m sure I saw this question posted here a few days ago but I can’t find it…?

Is there anyway to copy a comp from one project into another?

    Any help much appreciated.

    easiest thing to do is–

make a copy of the project you want to copy from

in your project window highlight the comp you want to copy

in file menu select – reduce project

this will mean your project will only comprise of your comp (and source footage of course)

    save this project

open your other project and import the comp only project into it (CNTRL I – just like you were importing footage)
