copy transition pastes at 1 frame duration
Hi
whether i right click on a transition, or command c the transition, or option drag the transition, it pastes with only a one frame duration.
so even though i have copied a 15 frame cross dissolve starts at cut , when i paste it its only 1 frame long
and I have enough margin on both shots. and i have trashed my prefs, Adn this used to work fine.
I have FCP 5.1.4 and QT 7.2 on a dual dual 2.66 intel
anyone else seeing this oddity?

you don’t have heads/tails on one of those clips.
Try right clicking on the transition and choose end on edit for alignment.
