Copy qualifier isolation settings to another shot?
Hi,
I have about 7 shots of a close up of a man’s face. They are all spices from the same Take. So basically any qualifying I do will most likely work on the other shots.So is there a way to save my qualifier settings.
For example, say…Color pick the nose area, adjust the low soft values, then save it. Reapply it to the new clip.Any chance of this or am I pipe dreaming?

Did you try using the middle click on the graded clip while showing the new clip ?

Uh….
If you had been using some previous versions of Resolve, the default behaviour was to apply a grade to all the instances of a source clip, and if you wanted to do something different with other trims, you would have to create a “Use local” elective or create a second treatment.
Copying grades with all of the processes intact is something we rely on for efficiency, and can be accomplished in more than a handful of ways. Stills, Relative copy, stored memory, colortrace(tm), reveal node tree… it was what this application was made for.

I always try avoid picking the nose area, especially when clients are around. 🙂
