Very easy, select the trans to copy – copy.

Move cursor to the cut or other trans. and paste.

Thanks Chris. Actually just tried it, and it worked, as long as the video files were on the Video 1 track… but DIDN’T work on the Video 2 or Video 3 tracks. Any idea why? Very odd that a simple thing like ‘copy & paste’ won’t work on 1 track but won’t work on others.

    Thanks again.

All pasting depends on which tracks are active/selected on the left side of sequence.

    Chris. YOU ROCK!

I had the track turned on, but I didn’t SELECT it on the left. That was the magic piece of the puzzle that I had missing.

Thank you again for your help.

    🙂

[Chris Tompkins] “Move cursor to the cut or other trans. and paste.”

Just as a little side note, its actually the Current Time Indicator you need to be over the targeted cut, NOT the cursor.
