  • Copy paste to a track in a new timeline not working as intended

    Hello there,

I’m trying to copy some audio files from a track A59 to another timeline into A2. However, no matter what I do, turning all the Auto Tracfk Selectors before off, locking all the one before, it always creates new tracks until A59 and pastes it there. Did anyone find a work around, since it appears like a bug for me.

Are you doing this on the Fairlight page?

No, on the edit page. Just tried the Fairlight page and it’s working there. Thank you.

If someone happens to stumple on this thread. On the Fairlightpage you can copy a clip and then switch timelines and select the track on the left, where you want to paste it.

Anyway, I hope it get fixed for the edit page, since it should also be possible to paste your clips exactly where you need them there.

Do you have in/out points set on your timeline. Try clicking ALT+X to remove your in/out points on the timeline before pasting. It may just be pasting at the currently selected out point …which is a silly behavior in my opinion.
