Copy & paste dynamic objects to new file?
I built a dynamic object in a file with a few objects that I intended to then copy over into a more complicated “main” file, but I can’t seem to get the dynamics over to the new file. I tried copying, merging, baking and copying, and baking and merging, but when I get the dynamic objects into the new file, the dynamic objects have “reset” themselves from the “set initial state” in the original file. I ended up merging the more complicated “main” file into the dynamic file, and that seemed to work, but can you seriously not copy or merge a dynamic object into another file, or am I missing something?
