Copy object to new spot and align it
OK, I hope I can explane this well. In the attached Photoshop file it’s a picture of a conference table. Toward the bottom there was a plate that I took out and you can see just a bit left next to the red arrow. Directly on the other side in the red box is where the clone stamp of the end cap should go. I made a clone stamp of the end cap but have no Idea how to flip it so it matches. Or am I on the right track at all??
Any help would be great.

Looking forward to someone proving me wrong here but I don’t this is possible. You can flip the cloned endcap layer back and forth all day but the perspective it’s photographed at originally doesn’t make sense when you reverse it. The picture information you need is just not there.
I say this just to prompt someone to jump in and prove me wrong which will be good for you.????

Uhg! I actually was thinking the same thing. I tried perspective, warp, all kinds of stuff and couldn’t get it to work even rotating the Clone stamp brush just couldn’t do it. I’m hoping somebody can prove you wrong too ☺

Sadly, Dominic speaks truth. Your perspective will never match. But there may be a solution! Viewers don’t know what your table looks like, so who’s to say that center channel doesn’t just run the length of the table? Quite easy to grab a chunk of the center channel and bridge the gap between the two. Might need a little adjusting and blending, but it’ll fix the issue. No end caps, just a long, unbroken center channel.
Now, what’s your plan for the paper towel roll?

OK, I gave your idea a shot and it came out… OK. (but still a great idea, thanks) This is not that important to fuss over too much. For the paper towel roll I just covered it with the end cap from the left side. Attached is an ugly example.

Looks pretty okay to me.
Another possibility: It looks like this might be a video still (1280×720 image size). Is there a frame earlier in the shoot before the end cap is obstructed you could grab and use?

I wish there was. Yep you guessed it. I’m trying to cover up all this crap on the table for a training video. It’s pretty dry crap so no one will notice. The camera is locked down so don’t have to worry about movement. I inserted the photo in the video and it came out OK.
