    Copy MOV file into disk on key (?)

    I’m using Mac Pro OS X v10.9.5. trying to copy a 11 GB MOV file, into a 64 GB disc on key.

    Yet, I’m getting a note saying ” The item can’t be copied because it is too large for the volume’s format” I wonder what am I doing wrong?

    The flash drive might be formatted Fat32, which has a 4GB file size limit. You can try ExFat or MacOS Extended (you’ll need to erase the drive and format it to one of those formatting types) and then you’ll be able to copy that file over.
