I’m color correcting a program using master clip effects.

Color correcting edits from the same take ripple though just fine.

Now, I want to copy a Lumetri effect from a master clip to another master clip from a different take. Cannot find how to do this. Copy/paste attributes is not available.

Simply, I want to copy effects from one master clip to another master clip from a different take. Gotta be missing something simple here.

    I found a clunky work-around.

    1. Select clip in timeline. Hit “F” to load into source monitor
    2. Select “Effect Control” tab. Right click effect to copy
    3. Select new edit in time time. Hit “F” to load into source monitor
    4. Select “Effect Control” tab. Paste effect.

    Hopefully this can be simplified!

    John,

Do your color correction on the master clip, highlight the effect(s) in the Effect Controls tab, click on the menu bars and select “Save Preset”.

It will save everything you highlighted. Go to your next master clip and drag that preset from the Effects Tab up the new master clip.

Let me know if this is what you are looking for.

Or copy/paste from one master clip to another master clip in the Effect Contols.
