  • Copy clip crashes FCP6, Aja Kona fileds monitor problem

I have 2 problems I can’t explain. Well I can, but then I have to think about parallel universe 🙂

    1. Mac Pro 8 x 2.8 GHz, 5 GB RAM, Aja Kona LHe, FCP 6
Color correcting DVCPRO HD 1080i50 project. Everything worked just fine, than all the sudden, when I select clip and try to copy it, FCP crashes down. I’ve tried everything, repair permissions, trash preferences, saving as…, nothing worked. And than it just stopped. Like nothing ever happened.
What should I do if it happens again?

    2. Mac Pro 8 x 3.0 GHz, 5 GB RAM, Aja Kona 3, FCP 6
Editing DVCPRO HD 1080i50 project. I have connected PAL monitor on analog Y cable from Kona, cause I’ll down convert project at the end. Again, everything worked just fine, then video started to get really jerky like it has field problem. But not every time! Play – jerky – stop. Play – normal – stop. Play – jerky – stop…
Than I’ve changed sequence fields to “None” and now seems fine. I’ve tried to check fields in Kona settings, but didn’t find that option.
    Can I fix this somehow?
