  Copy Attributes Limitation?

  Copying attributes, specifically “Filters” seems to present a limitation, but maybe I’m missing something.

  I have a clip with two filters applied, a Key for manipulating the background, and a Color Corrector for the product in the clip.

  I want to copy and paste from that clip to another clip only the Color Corrector filter. But in the “Copy/Paste Attributes” function I only see a check box for “Filters”, which will copy BOTH filters. And I subsequently have to delete the unwanted filter from the target clip.

  Similarly, if say, a color filter is already on a target clip when I paste from a clip which also has a a color filter, the target clip will now have two Color Corrector filters and I have to delete one.

  Is this just the way it is, and I need to check every target clip and delete the unwanted filters and duplicates?

  Wherever I am…I’m lost!
