Copy and Paste!!!
Ok so ive got a question that i bet everyone says, yea good point i put up with that on a daily basis too!
its an issue with after fx and Copy and Paste…
Firstly i cant ever seem to copy and paste text into after fx, ive done it before, but its terribly hit and miss, its almost as though if its the first instance of copy and paste on that system after reboot, then it works fine if not then its screwed! i also think it might have something to do with text that has some formatting in it… im aware of the PS layer text get around but its very long winded for what should be a simple copy and paste.
and… more annoyingly, if im copying a set of layers from one comp into another… it reverses the layer order! as you all know… layer order is ridiculously important!!!
anyone got any ideas or similar experiences?

it may be smarter than you think…make sure you select the layers in the proper order. If you select them from the bottom up it will reverse your layer order. (in fact it will stack them in whatever random order you had selected them in)
