Copy and paste items between different projects
Posted by Paulo Jan on September 27, 2009 at 9:31 pmHi all:
Is it possible in Premiere CS3 to copy and paste clips, sequences, etc. betweeen one project and another, like in Final Cut?
Thanks in advance.

September 28, 2009 at 12:23 amWhat’s your recommended method – the way I’ve been doing it, is to select the clips I want from a sequence in one project, open the other project, and paste them into a sequence there.
Is it possible to have more than one project open at the same time?

September 28, 2009 at 9:10 amJust copy and paste between projects.
You cannot have more than one project open.
Another way is to import a whole project into another project and delete what you do not want.
In CS4 you do not have to import the whole project but you can select items. -

January 23, 2012 at 3:20 pmhi, I have a problem with premiere cs 5 – when I copy and paste from one project to another (same settings both projects) – the TRANSITIONS between the clips don’t appear. I don’t know why, I have copy pasted before and didn’t have this problem
