  • Copy and paste a grade? Also timeline navigation….

    Hi all…..

As far as I can tell there is no standard “Command C” / “Command V” copy and paste of nodes or grades in Resolve – the options are to save in memories, as stills or to use the center button on the mouse to apply a grade from another clip to the currently selected one.

Also…..there doesn’t seem to be a quick way to select all clips in the timeline – the only way I have worked out is to select the first clip, then scroll all the way to the end with the scrollwheel on the mouse and shift click the last clip. Standard keyboard buttons such as “Home” and “End” don’t seem to do anything….. are there any hidden shortcuts or other nifty ways to navigate the timeline?

    Thanks
    AS

Copy & paste (cmd-c/v) works on both shots and individual nodes. But you have to paste the entire correction of one node into a node.

I’m not sure about beginning/end of timeline…. it seems like there isn’t, but you can scroll through the numbered shot timeline or the “edit” timeline (i guess you could call it that, the one above the shots that gives relative duration).

For shot to shot: cmd- L/R arrow, will go from one shot to the next. optn- L/R arrow will go to head or tail of current shot.
