Ok, I know this is basic…
I cut rushes down into a long line of selected clips.
I then want to go back a get two bits of sync from this timeline to cut into my edit.
I currently am cutting an in and an out point with the razor, then apple c, go back to my edit, make a space in the timeline, apple v, then tidy up the edit. It takes ages.

I come from Avid, where it takes a few clicks.

Surely there is a quicker way, what am I not doing, PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks V much for any tips.
    Dan.

Use I and O to mark in and out points. Copy. Use Shift-V to paste insert.

    All the best,

    Tom
