Copy ALL Vegas pro (12 or 13) settings to fresh install on new computer
This has been asked over and over. Answers range from copying folders in AppData, to Vegasaur, to registry exports.
I don’t have any third party templates or plugins. I just want all my settings, things like custom presets for Video FX, Media Generators, levels, options/settings , rendering, etc. to come over.
I’d buy Vegasaur if it would do it, but the product descriptions are vague, and I can’t find the pricing for the pre-14 version.
My goal is when I sit down to edit on the new computer, everything looks like the old one.

Hi,
I have found my FX presets in a folder under my documents folder: “OFX Presets”.
That contains my custom FX preset settings, and that folder is surely portable.
I don’t use 3rd party effects, only stock Vegas FX, mainly color curves, color corrector.
You can try Vegasaur for free, the trial is fully functional as far as I know. It has a time limit only.
So try it, and buy it if it helps you, after the trial period is over ????Best regards
