I am using FCP 7, I have animated a swipe by using the 8 point mask filter, I want to use the same mask animation for all my transitions but I can’t seem to copy the animated keyframes to the next clip

Ah, FCP7, I remember it well.

Select the clip, copy it and use paste attributes.

    All the best,

    Tom

Thanks Tom, that helped but now the keyframes seem to paste several frames away from where i want it on the clip. How do I paste it on the inpoint of the clip. The clip is the same frame rate and I have edited it’s in and out points so that its duration is the same as the clip i am trying to copy.
