    (Motion 2.0.1)

I used to be able to copy a layer of text, paste as it’s own layer, so that I’d have 2 identical layers. Now if I try that, the pasted layer comes out as black blocks. I tried trashing prefs, but that’s the only thing I know to do with Motion. Is there anything else I should try?

    Heya,

Not sure why you’re seeing what you are, but did you try selecting the original text layer and press Cmd+D to duplicate it, instead of copy/paste?

Wow, that worked, but I still get black boxes if I do it by cmd-C then cmd-V. Strange.

    Thanks for your help!
