Copied sequence won’t render
Hello everyone,
I’m not sure what I did wrong. I had two sequences in my timeline. Then I decided that I only needed one. So I copied all my footage from sequence2 and pasted it into sequence1, and then deleted sequence2. So now I have only one sequence, i.e sequence1. But my problem is that when I render the entire work area, it doesn’t render the footage that I copied from sequence2. What am I doing wrong?Thank you for all your help.

I have a feeling that the sequence you copied to has not got the work area set to fit the length of your edit.
Rendering a timeline is dependent on the work area setting. so if it is set to a small area that doesn’t require rendering then nothing will happen.
to reset the work area bar you can hit the “/” key to bring the edited sequence to the full view of the entire sequence and then double click on the top of the time marked area (where the time is shown in lines and the work area bar lives) to see the work area bar jump out the full length of the edit.
Doing this process in a zoom will set the in and out points of the work area bar the view of the zoom only.
You can manually set the in and out points with alt+] and alt+[ keyboard shortcuts based on the position of the playhead.
