I’ve got Cinema4D version 8 at my office.

Is there any window or way to tell what my view plane is at in terms of angles/tilt/ etc?

For instance, I notice when I hold down the command key and the number 3, it allows for the “Dutch tilt” view (I’m on a Mac) but after I’ve been rotating the object itself as well and changing views even changing to “Front View” and then clicking on the object and setting the XYZ and HPB to 0 degrees, the view still doesn’t look like it’s square on.

    Hi,
create a camera and take a look at it’s parameters. A newly created camera will use the current viewport as default.
    Cheers
