Cool video overlay effect… need help!
How would I go about making an effect similar to the one in this video at 2:22 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnVupEzu59g
Ive tried a couple things and failed miserably, any help would be appreciated! Thx!

try duplicating the footage in the comp, then apply the motion tile effect and keyframe the tile center property vertically.
then adjsut the opacity and/or blending modes to get the blending you desire with the origal footage.
does that get you close?
