I need to take a conveyor belt image and animate it across the screen along with objects on top of the belt at different points in time. This doesn’t seem too daunting, but you may have a more efficient suggestion for how to do it than my method.

I am thinking of looping the belt image (flat jpeg) across the screen, then parenting a null object to it. I would then parent the objects that are going to be on top of the conveyor belt to that null object.

That or just creating a loooooong image of the conveyor belt and moving it via keyframes.

I have never done this before, so this is all in my mind. If there’s a better way or tutorial, I am open to suggestions.
