Converting To Mpeg Video
Hello,
I have been given a list of specs by a client that I haven’t been able to quite get specific enough in exporting from FCP 7 to Compressor 3.5.3. I’ve tried sending to Compressor from the Final Cut sequence and I’ve tried exporting a QT movie and importing it into Compressor. In a nutshell it needs to be a MPEG 2 Transport Streem, MPEG 2 Long GOP. Constant Bit Rate. I think I’ve figured out most everything except how to set the Video ID (481) and Audio ID (482). And how to set the Format Profile: Main@Main. Is there a way to find these in Compressor/FCP or is there a 3rd party software that would be better for encoding to mpeg? I’ve tried Mpeg Streamclip, MacX Video Converter and iMedia Coverter Deluxe and can’t find all the settings I need in those either.
Here’s the client’s full list of specs. When I thought I met these, the test file was rejected for the items mentioned above (Video Profile, Video ID and Audio ID):
Aspect Ratio (4:3)
Codec MPEG 2 Long GOP
Container MPEG 2 Transport Stream
Horizontal 640
Vertical 480
Video Bit Rate 8-20 Mbps CBR
Audio Codec AC3 (2 Ch)Audio Sample Rate 48KHz
Frame Rate 29.97
Color Sampling 4:2:0I’m on OS 10.6.8 on a Mac Pro 2.4 GHz Quad-Core if that matters.
Thank you in advance for any input!
