Converting to HD
I am running Premier CS3 now, I am now wanting to upgrade to HD format.
My friend just finished a really nice 45 minute presentation.
The show has mostly still photos with a few AE files. It does have a audio track as well.
The project settings are 16:9 and the average image size is: 840 X 554 pix
The question is:
What is the best way to convert this project to HD format?Would my image size need to be bigger?

At the current image saize you will not see ayyny improvement in quality.
If you want 720P you will need images to be at least 1280×720 for 1080p/i, at least 1920×1080.
Just create a new HD project (probably dektop mode if you ony have images) and import the old project into it. Once you have the images resize, replace them in the project panel and resize to fit the frame.

Vince, thanks for your impute. Everything you help me with has been very successful.
I just have a couple of questions about the last post.
1. You said that I needed to: replace the photos in the project panel.
I guess I am not sure on how to do that? Or I’m just not understanding what you are saying.2. The last question is: resize to fit the frame.
I not real sure what frame I am suppose to resizing the photos too. In other words, how would I find the frame size?Thanks
