    Hello all,

I’m under no illusion that my actual question has little to do with compression, however, I haven’t a clue where to post this. I’m hoping though that some users produce 3gp files and *may* have come across this. Thanking you in advance.

A client wants me to convert a video file to 3gp for playing on a phone, done. However, he’s now asking whether it’s possible to have a URL come on screen at the end, and that the URL is live and allows click through to the site.

I know this isn’t strictly video production, but any assistance would be greatly received.

    Thank You,

    Ryan

Well now you’re looking at interactivity and the wonderful world of cell phones. Flash, Silverlight cell phone compatibility, UGH! Maybe this will be solved in the new world of HTML 5 or maybe someone else has an answer.

Transcoding to 3gp is easy. Clickable link at the end is tricky but SMIL is the way to go.
