    Hi,
Itrying to acheive an such that the snaped picture looks like it was drawn with pencil. I’ve tried some of the Stylized filters such as “Chalk & Charcaol” but cant get that crispy pencil artwork effect. Though I normally would convert the full colored pictured to Grayscale before trying these effects, but I still couldnt just nail it.
Can anyone out there pls help?

    Thanks
    Sura

Try using Levels, Contrast, or Posterizing before applying the effect to bring out the shadows and highlights more.

This month’s edition of the NAPP magazine, I think it is called Photoshop User, has a step by step tutorial on this.

You could google NAPP and get info on the organization and the magazine. I don’t know if you can get it outside the organization.
