Converting PAL to NTSC timecode
I have a big job to convert a whole bunch of programs from Digibeta PAL to digibeta NTSC.
I have a DVWA500 PAL and a DVWA500 NTSC deck and a Vistek Vega SD Standards Converter.
What do I use to convert the timecode so as picture start on the NTSC copy starts the same as the PAL master?
If I had the time I could write a little program to do the conversion thru a PC using the sound card but its been a while since I have done software.
Anyone know of any existing software or recommend a box?

Usually converters like this will convert TC as well, but on VITC only. Set your record deck to look at VITC and make sure player deck is not blanking VITC lines and the converter should do the job. I’m pretty sure the Teranex Mini does this, so I don’t see why yours wouldn’t either.
