    converting ntsc to pal

    hi all,

    i have a project to edit and am using pal avi. footage .can i use ntsc footage in combination or does this need to be converted?

    i have a ntsc dvd with footage on it so i probably need to convert it to pal? yes?

    anyone know whats the best way in this situation?

    A DVD disc must be either NTSC or PAL with 100% of the assets being in the chosen project standard. That means, if you are authoring in PAL, anything in NTSC or HD must be converted to PAL.
