    Hi there,

I assume those are HDV files? At any rate, download the awesome freeware “MPEG Streamclip” (grab it from macupdate.com or versiontracker).

Put your M2T in it (you can use the batch list function for multiple clips) and then converts it to whatever you need, or demux to MPEG2/MP2 audio for lossless results (if it IS HDV, that is)..

Try opening the log and transfer window then add those files to the window. FCP 6.0.2 has added a bunch more support for avchd and hdv.

    What camera?

“SONY SR12” contains unsupported media or has an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media.

Had you try to re-wrap the files as .mov?
