    Hello.

I am trying to ingest some clips into Media Composer.

The files I received are MP4’s. I have been converting them in Wondershare converter to MOVS.

I have tried XVID, AVI and H.264 but when I try and import them nothing happens, I try and ama link them but the CONSOLODATE button is grayed out.

What is odd, is that I have succesfully ingested 4 of the 6 clips I need, but the the last two I can’t.

I have free’d up room on the drive for media creation.

I have also added room on my Mac hard drive.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Dan.

    Hi.

Try to convert to avid friendly codecs.

DnxHd family will work great. MP4 will kill your machine cause it takes many resources.

    Thanks for the reply Christian.

I have actually solved it, I didn’t have enough space on my hard drive!

I feel very foolish but I thought I’d better fess up.

    Cheers,

    Dan.

I think you may have just run out of drive space, otherwise they would all behave the same.
