Converting .mov to .wmv

July 25, 2010 at 9:41 pmHello, I’m trying to convert a 10 minute .mov file (h264) into a .wmv and everytime I try, it only exports 20 seconds worth even though it finishes through until the end. Why is it doing this? Can I make it go all the way through? I’d like to find an easy way to just convert .mov to wmv using Quicktime pro or Final Cut Pro and not have to go through additional software (especially software that costs money). Any help will be appreciated– thank you

July 26, 2010 at 7:41 amThe free download of Flip4Mac converts only the first 20 or 30 sec to wmv. To be able to convert longer files you must buy the license.
And, there’s no other way (on a Mac) to do the conversion. On the PC, there’s Windows Media Encoder for Windows download able from Microsoft.

Sorensen Squeeze or Adobe Media Encoder also do wmv as far as I remember, but check out though, I could be wrong.
