    Hi everyone,

I have taken some videos on my phone and put them on to the mac and then tried to convert them in a different file format so i can edit them in fcp. I opened the videos in quicktime but when i try to save the videos to convert them the following error comes up – OSStatus error – 9466. Can someone give me a tip on how to fix this problem?

    Many thanks in advance!

Search google for “MPEG Streamclip.” Try using that to convert the files to something you’d usually edit with, like DV or something similar.

(I’m assuming you just used Quicktime to convert them the first time. Let us know if this is already what you did.)
