  Converting independent clips into masterclips

  Hi, I wonder if anyone could help me with this:
  We have shot on Sony EX camera’s with seperately recorded sound. I imported everything into FCP, and manually synced the audio and video in a sequence. Locked A&V.
  We copied the sequence and cut it into shots. Resulting in a sequence with all footage and a sequence with a selection of shots.
  And then a mistake was made:
  Then we dragged the selected synced clips into the browser and they have become independent clips. i.e. with in- and out points. But this is no very usefull for editing. Does anyone know how to convert independent clips into ‘real’ clips? And a second one: should we make master clips or subclips?
