    hello

    i would like to know if there is a way to convert an hdv clip (shot on canon hv20 ntsc) to pal while saving the original timecode of the ntsc clip

    this is importent becuse when i will go to online,the timecode is critical to be the same

    So you want to convert NTSC to PAL, but refer back to the NTSC clip when you online? YOu can’t do that. If you are going to online in NTSC, keep the footage NTSC. Onlining something that has been cut in a different frame rate is a big hassle.

    thanx, i did not think that the diffrent frame rates would affect the timecode until u said so….
