  • Converting HDMI to composite video

I’m using 3 Sony PXW X70 camcorders, and I’d like to send the video signals from all 3 cameras to a triple monitor I have. The triple monitor has BNC inputs, I used to use it with 3 Sony DSR‑PD150s (DVCAM) with no trouble at all.

But for our new HD camcorders, I’m looking to use the HDMI outputs, and that means I’ll need a converter box with HDMI in, and composite out, either an RCA or BNC jack would be optimal.

I’m seeing some converter boxes on Amazon that are quite inexpensive, less than $10.00 each, but they are USB powered, I think I’m looking for something that’s a step up from them.

    Any suggestions?
