  converting h.264 yields all white QT

  Working with a client who can’t find original content so I’ve downloaded h.264 clips from vimeo. H.264 plays fine in QT.

  When I convert them for FCP, using Compressor, QT or MPEG StreamClip, into a variety of settings, including DV, DVCPRO, Pro Res, I hear the audio but the video is solid white.

  I’m on a MBP Intel Core 2 Duo, running 10.6.4, QT 10, FCP 6.0.6
