Hi, I am new to Final Cut Pro and Compressor. I am simply trying to take multiple AVI files (each around 30 minutes) and convert to mpeg2 Using Compressor. The DVD authoring program I intend to use is a simple one called “Sizzle” and it will only accept files that are mpeg1 or 2, I cannot drop AVI’s directly into it.

My question is which selection do I use for compression or de-compression (as the case may be). I am just looking to be able to make DVD’s with 2 or 3 “episode’s” on each to play on a regular DVD player (not the computer).

I have tried bypassing Compressor completely as I thought it was overkill for such a task and tried to use Quicktime Pro 7 and/or DIVX Doctor but neither would work correctly. If there is a simpler way to do this task with other shareware/freeware software I would be interested to know.

    Many thanks for any help.
