    Hi all,
I exported a PAL DV quicktime move from Avid Xpress Pro because I had to take the OMFI files off the machine. Now the movie is flickering/ strobed because I think I reversed the fields when exporting (and the original stuff is off the machine.) Is there any way in AE 6.5 to reverse that look so that the movie plays smoothly?

    Thanks
    Dave

One way is to move the footage up or down one pixel in the comp. Don’t worry about the resulting thin black line at the edge of the comp — it should be outside safe area, yes?
