converting file into qt, to import into fcp
i am having problems converting mpeg2 files into quicktimes, so i can import them into fcp. what settings should i use?
i sused the 720_low setting, since it is just a temp clip.
i am converting the file with sorenson squeeze on a pc and then importing he qt into fcp on my mac. but it says it cant read the file. it shows up as a qt file on the desktop. i hope somebody can help. -

i figured it out, bought quicktime pro, export as qt, works perfectly.
